Sagebrush built a custom engineered, hydro-tested, wired and fully-functional Aether H2NG blender for blending rates and ratios of H2 to fire a boiler and evaluate the various blends on gas-fired industrial boilers.  The Aether patented H2NG blender technology will test boiler functionality and performance with different (5% to 50%) ratios, so that baseline data can be compared to future performance of the new installation. 

Sagebrush built the Aether H2NG blender to fire a new gas turbine to run on various blends of H2 and natural gas blends, in order to prove out the concept of adjustable fuel mixes to run various processes within the refinery. The fully adjustable, precision H2NG blender, will provide the controls and feedback to the main plant DCS for blend control and verification of blend ratios.

Sagebrush has provided and installed a typical H2NG blender with H2 analyzer and PLC controls at TU Flow Calibration Laboratory in order to run blend tests, collect data, evaluate various control schemes, and evaluate the repeatability of the H2NG blender.  This provides an outlet for Sagebrush Customers to take advantage of setting up and running various blends before installing permanent equipment at their sites.  Research and Evaluation are ongoing, and they will continue to utilize the H2NG blender and technology on other R&D projects as well.

Sagebrush provided a custom engineered, hydro-tested, wired and fully-functional Aether H2NG blender for testing various blend rates and ratios on gas-fire household appliances and common furnaces, water heaters, and boilers.  The Aether patented H2NG blender technology at this new testing facility, includes a hydrogen off-loading, regulation, blender, GC-H2 analyzer building with PLC controls and Operator controls. System includes feed forward, feed back, and controls enclosure for cold weather protection allowing full functionality in the below freezing temperatures.
